Myth and Shakespeare

One thing prevades all Culture, and that is myth. One author invades all English thought, and that is Shakespeare. What happens when we combine the two, add a liberal supply of randomness, and shake?

A 'modern' prayer

I hear a story that I though well applied to your class.

A friend of mine had dinner with her family over Easter (namely one of her kids and some of her grandkids). At the beginning of dinner they said grace, then one of her grandkids (age 5) said she had her prayer to pray, so they prayed that. After ther they released hands, but the other grandchild (age 3) piped up and said she had a special grace as well. My friend looked at her daughter, but she shrugged, not knowing the prayer, so they all joined hands again and the little girl sung her prayer:

"Somewhere, over the rainbow. Amen."
